In that position, she managed the Information Technology (IT) and communications support for nine FAA regions, located throughout the U.S., as well as a major FAA Support Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
Ms. Cassil began her IT career as an Administrative Data Processing (ADP) Intern within the Department of the Army, where she served for over 20 years in successive positions of increasing responsibility and leadership as an IT Manager. Her key Department of Defense (DoD) assignments included positions such as, Chief of Army Civilian Personnel Management Systems and Director of Information Technology for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civilian Personnel. Prior to joining the FAA in 2005, she served as the CIO and Deputy Chief of Staff for Information Management for the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC).
